The conflict between the Republic of Artsakh (also known as "Nagorno Karabagh") armed forces and the Azerbaijani armed forces continues to escalate.
During last night, the Azerbaijani forces attacked the positions of the Artsakh army with artillery and gunfire, firing more than 1100 shots.
Apart from that, the attacking Azeri side also fired 5 rocket artillery shells, in the southeast (Martuni) direction of the line of contact. A Spike anti-tank guided missile was also launched in the same direction.
Despite this the Artsakh forces suffered no casualties and remain prepared for further escalations and aggression by the Azeri side.
