Forces of the Yemeni resistance movement, consisting of forces loyal to the former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh and the Houthi rebels, fired a ballistic missile on the Saudi capital city of Riyadh on Saturday evening. The missile is said to have targeted the King Salman Airbase, located near Riyadh.
No information is given whether the missile hit the target. The extent of damage also remains unknown.
This is the second long-range ballistic missile launched at Riyadh by the Yemeni resistance forces in the past 6 months.
