Montenegro's parliament has voted in favor of joining NATO.
This decision was supported by 46 deputies out of 81. On April 11, US President Donald Trump ratified the protocol on the accession of Montenegro to NATO.
Later, the Russian Foreign Ministry warned of a "resurgence of anti-Russian hysteria" in Montenegro. Montenegro, in turn, has denied the information about the manifestation of anti-Russian sentiments in the country.
