Mohammad Alloush, military commander of Jund Al Malahm, a terrorist group, fighting alongside Joulani’s Tahrir Al Sham, has made a defection to the Erdogan-backed Ahrar Al Sham. The latter has already confirmed his decision.
According to the sources, close to Alloush, the decision was made after Alloush reportedly realized that it would not be possible to “satisfy Allah”, due to current circumstances at Tahrir Al Sham camp. As a result, he defected to Ahrar Al Sham, where unity and solidarity among different terrorist groups, fighting on the same side, are said to be “much greater”.
It is believed that Alloush’s motives are also related to the “ongoing crisis” among the jihadist groups in the embattled Damascene district of Eastern Ghouta.
Currently, terrorists are at odds with each other as recently the Erdogan-backed Jaysh Al Islam terrorists attacked positions, belonging to Tahrir Al Sham and Al Rahman Brigade in Eastern Ghouta. So far, more than 100 terrorists were killed in the clashes.
Jaysh Al Islam is an ally of Ahrar Al Sham.
Fighting among the terrorist groups is a big plus for the units of the Syrian Army as it spares them a lot of effort and time.
