“Don’t be angry, but your question sure is funny, we have nothing to do with that”, Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to the US journalist, asking him about the possible Russian influence on Trump’s decision to dismiss Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), James Comey, and its impact on the future of Russian-American relations.
“President Trump is acting in accordance with his competence, law and constitution”, added Putin.
The journalist briefly met Putin when he was heading off to the stadium to watch the game of hockey and play some hockey with the fans in the city of Sochi on Wednesday evening.
In the end, Putin invited the journalist to join him during the game.
