A 41-year old migrant from Afghanistan has fatally wounded a 5-year-old boy of Russian origin.
The attack happened on Saturday afternoon at a refugee/migrant shelter in the Bavarian municipality of Arnschwang, located in the south of Germany, where a 41-year old man who has recently come from Afghanistan, stabbed to death a 5-year old boy with the knife.
The boy’s mother, a 47-year old Russian citizen who also received injuries, has been hospitalized since.
The boy’s older brother, aged 6, was left unharmed, however, is in a deep state of shock.
The attacker was later shot dead by the police, following a battle in which several police officers and 2 helicopters had to participate.

7 ambulances were also dispatched to the scene.
18 other people, 3 children including, who also lived at the shelter at the time when the murder happened, are said to be resettled soon.
The Russian embassy in Germany is already looking into the matter.
