In 2016, Russian radars fixed more than 2 thousand foreign military aircraft, as announced by the head of the radio engineering troops of the air and space forces of the Russian Federation, Major-General Andrew Coban.
Among the identified military aircraft - 800 belonged to foreign intelligence.
"In total in 2016, radio-duty forces accompanied more than 600 thousand instances of objects passing through Russia's airspace."
