Ali Fahd, Syrian Air Force pilot who was yesterday shot down by the US Air Force while conducting anti-ISIS raids in the Syrian province of Raqqah, is said to be alive and well, reports on various social networking sites claim.

The incident occurred yesterday afternoon and has since been verified by the US.

General Command of the Syrian Army condemned the latest US aggression, saying it clearly shows that US supports ISIS.

As of yet, the pilot himself has not made an official statement.
