Units of the Syrian Army carried out another batch of counter-terrorism operations on Friday, after terrorists were trying to infiltrate military checkpoints in Homs province.
According to military sources, ISIS terrorists were trying to make an infiltration from direction of Jabbab Hamad village towards one of the military checkpoints east of Oum Al Tababeer village, located in the eastern countryside of Homs province.
The clashes ended with complete annihilation of all participating terrorists, in addition to destruction of weapons and ammunition they had in possession.
Meanwhile, the Army units thwarted another infiltration attempt.
Earlier in Friday, Al Nusra Front terrorists, coming from direction of Jawlak Al Mahatta Sensil in the eastern countryside of Homs province, wanted to attack several military checkpoints in the vicinity.
Scores of the terrorists were annihilated and their equipment destroyed during their failed attempt.
