The number of Israelis who have officially joined the terrorist group ISIS, has reportedly reached 22.
The latest addition are a man and a woman, both of them of Jewish background, who later converted to Islam and joined the ranks of ISIS in Syria, Israel's internal security service said on Wednesday.
Recently, a list of 20 Israeli citizens who joined the ranks of ISIS, was submitted to the Israeli Interior Minister Arie Deri, with the purpose of revoking their citizenship, the Jerusalem Post reported yesterday.
Today it was announced that 19 people will have their citizenship revoked soon.
The list mostly includes Israeli citizens of Arab background.
According to reports in the Israeli press, the latest addition, however, are a 28-year-old Jewish woman from the city of Ashdod, and a 32-year-old Jewish man from the city of Lod, and who was born in the Soviet Union and immigrated to Israel at an early age. Both later converted to Islam.
