Kiev cuts per person gas allotment 25%. Now it is 3.3 cubic meters per person per month. The issue was considered at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on August 18.
"The government analyzed the situation and brought social norms of gas closer to the actual consumption for cooking and heating water," said Andriy Reva, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine said, as TASS reports.
According to the new changes, from October 1, 2017, if there is a gas stove and centralized hot water supply, the norm is reduced from 4.4 to 3.3 cubic meters of gas per person per month. In the absence of centralized hot water supply and a gas water heater, the rate is reduced from 7.1 to 5.4 cubic meters of gas, and in the presence of a gas water heater - from 14 to 10.5 cubic meters.
Earlier, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva found a simple way to correct an unattractive picture of the structure of expenses of ordinary citizens of Ukraine, in which about 50% of the funds go to food. For this, the citizens of the country need to eat less.
