“Russian pilots are fulfilling their duties with total dedication to Syria”, said Colonel General Viktor Bondarev, commander of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
He noted that Russian pilots are carrying out their tasks in accordance with bilateral agreement between Syria and Russia, with the primary goal of Russian intervention being restoration of stability to Syria, and which would be accomplished after last terrorist elements are annihilated.
Last month, the Russian Air Force celebrated its 105th anniversary.
On this occasion, an aerial military parade, including a famous “Swifts” aerobatics team, was held in the suburban areas of Moscow and Saint Petersburg, with participation of some 150 military jets and helicopters.
