Russia will launch a regular railway route by the end of Autumn between its territories, bypassing Ukraine. So, Railway workers conducted a test launch of the train on the new line "Zhuravka - Millerovo". This was reported by the press office of the Russian Railways.

A new railway, 137 km long, bypasses the territory of the Voronezh and Rostov regions.

"The road is electrified, double-tracked all over; 7 new railway stations have been constructed here: Zaitsevka, Sergeevka, Sobarevka; Kuteinikovo, Vinogradovka, Kolodezi and Bochenkovo. It will become part of the high-speed railway that connects Central Russia with the Black Sea coast. The project aims to develop the railway infrastructure in the direction of "Center - South", increase its capacity, ensuring transport security of freight and passenger traffic, entirely bypassing the territory of Ukraine, " the report said.

Before, the road from Voronezh to Rostov region partially ran through the territory of Ukraine, but after the coup d'état and the beginning of the war in Donbass, Russian Railways began construction of a detour route.
