The Security Service of Ukraine announced that an attempt on the life of the country's President Poroshenko was in preparation. It was to occur during his visit to the Kharkov region.

According to the agency, on August 22 at about 12:00 the Office of the Security Service received a call from an anonymous person who used a non-landline phone, but an IP-telephone.

"A female mechanical voice reported on the attempt on Poroshenko, planned during the visit of the head of state to the Kharkov region," the press service of the SBU reported.

The Ukrainian special services did not specify which language the person spoke, writes Tsargrad.

Because of the precautions made by the callers, SBU officers could not locate the evil anonymous person. On the fact of the threats, a criminal case was initiated under the article "Attempt on the life of a statesman."

Poroshenko has, in fact, something to fear. Many have become dissatisfied with his regime in Ukraine: The ultra-right consider it to be soft and without principles, residents of cities are demonstrating because of heightened utility bills and taxes, and because of the insane censorship of the politics against Poroshenko, even internet activists.
