Syrian Army and Hezbollah are continuing their advances in western Qalamoun region of Damascus countryside by taking control of new strategic positions and heights.
According to the field reports, a control was established over the heights of Dulil Fakhouriyeh and Wadi Al Hammam, Dahour Al Khashin (from the Syrian side), and Saraj Al Qawamie.
They also liberated the plain and the ruins of Mar Taysieh, as well as Al Fakhuriyeh plain, located west of Jaround Al Bari on the Lebanese-Syrian border.
In addition, artillery units of Hezbollah destroyed several ISIS sites in Halima Qara.
This came a day after Syrian forces and Hezbollah surrounded Halima Qara from three sides, and what ultimately allowed them to liberate a number of important border crossings between Syria and Lebanon, the most important of which is Al Shahout crossing, which links Jaroud Qara with Jaroud Arsal.
