UN: 590,000 eligible residents of Donbass do not receive pensions or social benefits from Ukraine - Like This Article

The UN Office for Refugees states that 586,000 Ukrainians living in the conflict zone in the Donbass do not receive pensions and social benefits that they are eligible for.

"586 thousand citizens of Ukraine living in the conflict zone have not received pensions and social benefits since the beginning of last year. The UNHCR urges Ukrainian authorities to ensure the payments to all citizens, regardless of where they live, "- said in a statement on the UN website.

Earlier, the OSCE reported of 59 killed civilians in the Donbas since early 2017.
