The WikiLeaks website published more than 21,000 letters from the electoral headquarters of Emmanuel Macron.

The first letters are dated March 2009, the last - April 2017. According to the organization, there are much more materials at the disposal of the site, but only these letters have been analyzed and systematized.

"As a context, we provide a complete archive of more than 71.8 thousand letters, including about 26.5 thousand attachments from about five thousand senders," the statement said.

In early May, Macron went to the second round of the presidential elections, along with Marin Le Pen. The day before WikiLeaks reported a large leak of emails of the presidential candidate. Their total capacity is about nine gigabytes. The policy team condemned the hacker attacks and stated that, in addition to real letters, fake documents were published.

Founder WikiLeaks Julian Assange reported on the "compromising correspondence" of the French politician still in the winter. According to him, the data were obtained from the personal correspondence of the former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. As the head of the French National Agency for Information Systems Security Guillaume Pupar said, the hacker attack was "so devoid of specifics and so simple that virtually anyone could accomplish it."
