Around 600 ISIS fighters and their family remain isolated in central Syria - Like This Article

September 2, 2017 - Fort Russ News - Paul Antonopoulos

A number of ISIS terrorists and their families remain isolated in government-controlled areas of Syria unable to reach eastern Syria as agreed to by the conditions of their evacuation from the Lebanese-Syrian border.

Days ago the US-led Coalition conducted airstrikes against Syrian infrastructure such as roads and bridges, leaving the terrorist fighting stranded.

The approximately 600 fighters and their families were granted safe passage to eastern Syria from the border region after a surrender deal was reached with Hezbollah. ISIS in exchange for safe passage cooperated with Hezbollah to identify where martyrs for the Lebanese Army and Hezbollah were buried.

The Syrian government are yet to make a statement on what is to happen with the stranded ISIS fighters.
