Ukraine dies out - the demographic results of 26 years of independence

On August 24th, Independence Parade was held in Kiev, hosted for the head of the Pentagon, James Mattis. Let's look at the demographic story behind Ukrainian "independence."

According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, there were 51.8 million people in the country in 1991. Today, according to official data, the population of Ukraine has decreased by more than 10 million inhabitants. According to alternative calculations, no more than 35 million people live in the country.

Ukrainian demographers believe that only 95.5 years remain until the Chernigov region completely dies out, while 111.5 years remain for the Sumy region and 118 for the Poltava region. Of all the regions of Ukraine, only three of them are not yet in fatal decline - the Kiev, Rivne and Transcarpathian regions.

According to the estimates of journalists from the newspaper, Vesti, Ukraine is now dying out demographically at an average speed of 482 people a day. Over the past year, the population of the country has declined by 186,000 people.

Many families do not want to have children because they have no future in Ukraine. For example, in Odessa, 60% of families are childless. From 2019 onwards, even scheduled births will be paid services. Those who have the opportunity will simply leave Ukraine, with the result being that the rate of population decline will be even further accelerated.

Donbass displaced persons deprived of pensions

In Mariupol, pension pay-outs have been unexplainably stopped for people who refuse to be resettled. This was reported by Radio Liberty on August 22nd.

Since August, massive problems with obtaining pensions have faced those pensioners who have long since moved to territories under Ukraine's control and had their own housing or permanent residence. Pensions are simply being blocked until they present a new certificate with the status of "internally displaced person."

Even before,  pensioners had to stand in huge queues, often for more than a day.

The same situation can be observed throughout Ukraine, where about one and a half million people have been displaced.

Pensioners have begun to file large-scale lawsuits in courts in connection with "unlawful actions of the Pension Fund." Many are threatening to go to the European Court of Human Rights.

Ukraine shells center of Pervomaysk

"On the night of August 24th, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (UAF) bombarded the center of the city of Pervomaysk with 122 mm caliber artillery," the People's Militia of the People's Republic of Lugansk has reported.

The Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC) recorded three unexploded 122-mm shells in the central market area. Fortunately, civilian casualties were avoided since, during the bombardment of Pervomaysk, Ukrainian militants used unsuitable ammunition.

"This is how the Ukrainian command is solving the problem of disposing with unsuitable ammunition. The commanders of groups and military units of the Armed Forces, knowing that such ammunition cannot be used, are endangering their servicemen, thereby increasing the number of non-combat casualties among personnel,” the official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Andrei Marochko, has suggested.

The bombardment of this front-line city by the AFU just so happened to take place on August 24th, the day of Ukrainian "independence." Apparently, this is simply the way they decided to celebrate their main national holiday.

LPR commemorates victims of Ukrainian rocket strikes

On August 22nd, in the town of Rovenky, an event was held to commemorate those inhabitants of the city who died in 2014 as a result of a bombardment by Ukrainian Tochka-U tactical missiles.

On the night of August 22nd-23rd in 2014, the AFU launched a Tochka-U tactical rocket. As a result of the attack, four civilians, including a 5-year-old child, were killed in the village of Chernigovskiy. Several more people were injured.

LPR fire truck blown up in Bryanka

A vehicle of the LPR's Ministry for Emergency Situations was blown up by an explosive device while extinguishing a fire near the  Vergelyovskaya mine in the proximity of the town of Bryanka town. Three emergency personnel were injured.
