September 2, 2017 - Fort Russ News - Paul Antonopoulos
After yesterday's announcement by Fort Russ News that the Syrian Army liberated the major crossroads town of 'Uqayribat and its surrounding area in central Syria from ISIS, the terrorist group returned overnight and reentered the town.
The terrorist groups re-entrance into the town saw ISIS storm Syrian Army positions before they could fortify their positions. This effectively meant that government forces had to retreat from a small area within the town.
The ISIS Hunters, an elite unit of the Syrian Army that is playing a major role in the fight against ISIS in central Syria, announced on their social media that the terrorist group resorted to using women and children in suicide attacks to begin their assault on 'Uqayribat.
It is known that airstrikes are smashing ISIS positions in and around 'Uqayribat, however it has not been revealed yet to Fort Russ News whether they are being conducted by the Syrian or Russian air forces.
