A spokesman for the Yemeni Resistance-linked Ansar Allah movement, Mohamed Abdel Salam, said that the missiles of his movement that previously already reached beyond the Saudi capital city of Riyadh, could also reach the UAE.
In an interview with Al Mayadeed channel, Abdul Salam accused the UAE of seeking to control airports and Yemeni islands. “Their money does not permit us to relax”, he said.
“Emiratis know what happened to them in Iranian cities. The movement has no choice but to defend itself”, he added, while accusing the parties who are attacking Yemen as being the tools of the US-Zionist project in the region.
“The people of the Arabian Peninsula are being raised in a sea of crises and wars”, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Qarqash, told Reuters on Twitter.
Later, Abdel Salam replied to that statement of Qarqash, saying the idiot is the one who started the aggression, while asking him, how could the actions of the Yemeni Resistance not scare his state, given the level of panic and hysteria.
Previously, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Qarqash, said that threats of the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Abdul Malik Al Houthi, who threatened to target UAE, do not scare his country, although he did say that the goal of what he described as “Iran's militia” indeed are “despicable and dangerously real.”
Qarqash stressed that the UAE leadership has joined the Arab coalition in order to shift the strategic balance in the region, particularly to prevent Iran from gaining more influence, adding that the Arab coalition against Yemen is fighting a “necessary battle for the future of the region.”
The leader of Ansar Allah movement, Abdul Malik Al Houthi, confirmed the continuous development of the Yemeni missiles that are now capable of reaching any target within Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
