Russian warplanes have reportedly pounded positions of the US-backed and Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) terrorists, sources close to SDF said.
On Saturday, SDF terrorists captured Koniko oil field area in the east of Deir Ez Zour province.
In the meantime, the Russian bombardment (as well as artillery shelling) of SDF positions in eastern Deir Ez Zour continues. Several losses on SDF side were already reported.
As of yet, the reports cannot be verified, nor were they confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Yesterday, a Russian Army general was killed in an ISIS shelling in Deir Ez Zour.
It is noteworthy that Russian Ministry of Defense recently published photos, proving that both, the US special forces and SDF terrorists stationed in Deir Ez Zour, can uninterruptedly move between ISIS sites.
