DAMASCUS, Syria. Meanwhile as the UN experts keep accusing the Syrian authorities for being responsible for chemical attacks, despite lacking evidence, terrorists stationed in the Damascene suburban area of Eastern Ghouta are preventing distribution of the UN humanitarian aid to the needy civilians living in several towns and villages south of Damascus.
On Sunday, the terrorists intercepted shipments of UN relief supplies that were supposed to be delivered to the people in the towns of Yalda, Babila and the village of Beit Sahem, located in the southern outskirts of Damascus.
The terrorists reportedly demanded a ransom of 5,000 food packages before eventually letting the convoy to pass through.
The convoy consisted of 35 trucks carrying 8,000 food packages, 7000 sacks of flour and 4,000 packages of cleaning supplies.
This is not the first time that so-called moderate terrorists from Eastern Ghouta prevented or raided the aid convoys.
On September 24th, terrorists seized all United Nations humanitarian aid packages that were to be delivered in coordination and cooperation with the Russian Reconciliation Center in Hmeimim.
