October 8, 2017 - Fort Russ News - Paul Antonopoulos

Earlier today Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) terror group, or more commonly known by its former name of Al-Nusra Front, captured a village in the northern countryside of Hama after the Syrian Army tactically retreated.

The village only had a small amount of Syrian soldiers and was mostly defended by locals.

In the ensuing battles, at least 50 HTS terrorists were killed in the past 3 days.

Fort Russ News has obtained images of HTS terrorists in the village, as seen in the above and below photo.

HTS also managed to capture equipment left behind by the Syrian Army.

Despite the capture of the village, it came at a high price as dozens of fighters and commanders were killed while pro-Syrian government forces sustained minor casualties.

Those killed by pro-government forces include HTS commanders "Abu Umar";

A field commander of the'quick response unit' for HTS;

HTS wannabe suicide bomber 'Abdul Karim Raad Uthman' who fled from his explosive-laden vehicle but was killed hours later by pro-Syrian government forces anyway;

and HTS fighter 'Abu Islam Kafr Uwayd'.
