Israeli police forces and military have been deployed in the vicinity of Majdal Shams, a Druze-majority town, located close to the Syrian border, after the US/Saudi/Turkish-backed jihadists assaulted the predominantly Druze town of Hadar in Syria's Quneitra province.

The Israeli police forces have blocked main routes leading to the Syrian border in order to prevent Majdal Shams residents from arriving in the area.

An Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) message is being circulated, saying that (for the first time) the Israeli Army will intervene against the Syrian jihadists in order to prevent the capture of Hadar.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Army Radio reported that hundreds of Druzes from Galile and Golan regions began arriving in Majdal Shams in solidarity with Hadar residents.

Earlier today, the terrorists detonated a car bomb in the Syrian town of Hadar in Quneitra province. At least nine people were killed and 23 were left wounded.
