The Iraqi Forces have completely liberated the town of Al Qaim, Al Sura news agency has just reported.
If the reports prove true, this would be a tremendous achievement as it means that ISIS terrorists no longer have any stronghold in Iraq left.

In other words, with Al Qa'im fully liberated, the ISIS chapter in Iraq is pretty much over.

Now, only the liberation of Abu Kamal, a town in eastern Syria located right at the Iraqi border, is what it needs to be pulled from ISIS and the terrorist group itself will more or less become history.

In the meantime, the Iraqi Forces are amassing at the Syrian border, Al Mayadeen claims.

It is possible that they will help the Syrian Army storm Abu Kamal and few of the surrounding villages on both sides of the border that are still in the grip of ISIS.
