The Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, Lattakia province, has published a report on delivery of the Russian humanitarian aid to the needy Syrians living in the countryside of Homs city.

In its statement, the Russian center said that 1,700 kilograms of humanitarian aid was delivered to the residents of the town of Kafrnan, located in the countryside of Homs city, confirming that 500 food packages were distributed to the locals and medical assistance offered to 26 people, five children including. 

In addition, 36 trucks loaded with UN humanitarian aid were dispatched to the town of Talbiseh, located within one of de-escalation zones in Homs province. 

The statement also noted that demining operations by the Russian military experts from the International Mine Action Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense, are continuing in the eastern city of Deir Ez Zour, pointing out that 25 hectares of the city area were combed, in addition to 4 km of roads, and 6 buildings being inspected in search for explosives during the past 24 hours. So far, 275 explosive devices were deactivated.
