Syrian Forces have made further advancements in Palmyra, Hama, Idleb and Deir Ez Zour . The military units carried out several operations that resulted in destruction of ISIS terrorist and their equipment.
During the past 24 hours multiple airstrikes were made in the area of the Mount Al Tar and the surrounding areas of Palmyra where scores of terrorists were killed. An ISIS vehicle that was rigged with explosives was destroyed near the entrance of Palmyra.
The Army also conducted artillery shelling east of Jeb Al Jarrah which resulted in the death of 6 terrorists, including Shaher Al Hassan, known as the local “ISIS prince”.
The Syrian forces are currently aiming for complete liberation of the eastern countryside of the Homs province.
In Deir Ez Zour province the counter-terrorism activities continued with a series of heavy artillery blows on ISIS positions in the southern section of Deir Ez Zour city. In addition to dozens of the terrorists, weapons and equipment were also destroyed.
In the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour the military jets struck an ISIS convoy.
Because of their severe losses, ISIS terrorists are now attempting to destroy the water tanks and thus endanger the lives of civilians even further.
Aside from ISIS, the military units also attacked Al Nusra positions. 22 terrorists were eliminated during the raids in the countrysides of Hama and Idleb provinces.
Al Nusra headquarters in the town of Al Tamanah, located in Idleb province, were also hit.
