In an interview with the Czech newspaper Blesk that was published yesterday, he stated that the terrorist groups, operating in Syria, received financial support and equipment from the Saudi and Qatari regimes as well as from particular western states, namely the US, France and Great Britain, saying that the Syrian Army discovered weapons and equipment donated by certain western states, Great Britain including, following the liberation of the residential areas in eastern Aleppo.
Kohlíček further pointed to hypocrisy of the western governments that were trying to bring the Syrian government to the International Criminal Court for allegedly committing war crimes, despite lacking any evidence, while at the same time, not claiming any responsibility for the crimes, committed during the invasion of Iraq or the former Yugoslavia.
Czech Republic is one of the few remaining European countries that did not submit to the aggression, unleashed by terrorist groups and their supporters against Syria.
