Israel made another illegal incursion into Syrian territory.

Syrian National Defense Forces, a volunteer organisation fighting alongside the Syrian Army, confirmed the death of 3 of its fighters who lost their lives during the Israeli raids on their positions in the southern Syrian province of Quneitra. 2 people were also wounded in the attacks.

According to the NDF social media sites, the names of the fallen soldiers are: Mohammed Ahmed Ibrahim, Ahmed Safwan Salibi and Osama Hamed Faraj, all of them belonging to the NDF Golan regiment.

The incident was also confirmed by the Israeli Defense Forces, saying their military jets bombed a site, close to the town of Khan Arnaba in Syria’s Quneitra province earlier on Sunday.

The Israeli sources further claim that the group is occassionaly targeting Israeli territory with rockets. However, no evidence was provided so far.

The area is also known to have some Hamas-linked Al Nusra Front presence.

This is not the first IDF raid on NDF positions in the vicinity of Khan Arnaba. On March 19th, the Israeli Air Force carried out raids in a revenge for a military jet that was shot down by the Syrian air defense systems 2 days prior. One person was killed in the assault.
