Syrian forces continue their offensive against the terrorists in the provinces of Daraa and Deir Ez Zour.
Earlier on Thursday, army units targeted positions of Al Nusra Front-linked terrorist groups in Daraa Al Balad area in Daraa province. A bunch of terrorists were left dead or injured, following intense clashes in Al Sadd Road neighbourhood and north-west of the Old Customs Office building in the city of Daraa. Stockpiles and machineguns, south-east of Al Khazan and Al Abbasiyeh neighburhood, were also destroyed.
Meanwhile, efforts against ISIS continued in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour.
Syrian Air Force units carried out series of intense strikes at ISIS hideouts, gatherings and movements in Al Rasafeh neighborhood and the surrounding areas of the graveyards, Al Tharda Mountain and Brick Factories, located south of the city of Deir Ez Zour. Heavy losses are said to have been inflicted on ISIS in terms of personnel and equipment.
Special operations against ISIS gatherings and movements were also carried out in the vicinity of Liwa Al Tamin, resulting in destruction of a BMP vehicle and a killing and injuring of scores of terrorists.
Again faced with severe losses, ISIS terrorist started to resort to their old tactic – terrorizing civilians. Local sources claim ISIS terrorists executed a civilian by a gunshot to the head in the town of Al Sayyal, located in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour province.
