Military sources of the Yemeni Resistance Movement, led by the Houthi rebels and troops, loyal to the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, confirmed they gained control over key strategic Tabbah Al Qadi area, located in Yemeni province of Marib.
3 other positions, located east of Sirwah District in western part of the province, were also captured.
The gains come, following intense clashes with the units of the Saudi and Hadi Junta-led international alliance, during which a commander of Brigade 203, Colonel Hadi Saleh Faqaas, was killed, alongside 18 of his companions.
In addition, 3 Saudi soldiers were killed by Yemeni Resistance snipers in Al Fareeda, Malhama and Al Dafeenat, located in Saudi Arabia’s border region of Jizan.
Around the same time, clashes erupted between Yemeni Resistance and the Saudi-led international coalition. Intense rocket and artillery fire was exchanged between the two sides at the Saudi-Yemeni border, particularly around the Midi Desert.
In a response, Saudi-led coalition launched 3 air strikes on Resistance positions in the districts of Al Dhaher and Shada, located in the northern Yemeni province of Saada.
The Saudi-led coalition later continued with air raids on Sanaa province, targeting Houthi positions in Hamedan district.
