After successfully thwarting an overnight ISIS infiltration at the southern axis of Deir Ez Zour city and which ended with devastating results for ISIS, Syrian forces continued with operations throughout Deir Ez Zour province on Friday, targeting ISIS gatherings, movements and supply routes.
The operations were successful and prevented another infiltration of ISIS terrorists, coming from direction of Al Baghailiyeh village and Wadi Al Tharda.

According to the field reports, several ISIS positions, gatherings and movements in Al Janina, the graveyard areas, the surroundings of Al Panorama and Jdaidit Al Ekidat, were targeted.
An ISIS command center and 3 vehicles were destroyed during the operations, in addition to annihilation of dozens of ISIS terrorists, majoroty of them being foreign nationals.
As always, during the periods of unexpected losses, ISIS terrorists were putting pressure on civilians.
At least one person was killed and three other people were injured after an ISIS drone attacked Al Qusour and Al Joura neighbourhoods in Deir Ez Zour city.
