The Irkutsk Aviation Plant is planning to begin serial production of the new passenger airliner MS-21 within two years. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Alexander Veprev, general director of the aviation concern.

According to the production program of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, by 2020 there will be 20 planes per year coming from its production line. A production pace of 70 per year is envisaged by 2023.
