Units of the Syrian Army were involved in heavy overnight clashes with ISIS and the affiliated terrorist groups at the southern axis of Deir Ez Zour city.
For the third day in a row, army units clashed with ISIS and the affiliated terrorist groups in the area of Al Panorama, the surroundings of the Syrian Army Regiment 137, the cemetery areas, with the fiercest clashes taking place at the hills, surrounding the Syriatel building and Oum Abboud, located south of Deir Ez Zour city.
Syrian Air Force also participated in battles and carried out heavy bombardment in order to destroy ISIS supply routes in Al Bghailiye, Al Thardah valley, the surrounding area of Talet Al Sunouf, Al Taim crossroads, Kou’a Al Mayadeen, Al Panorama farms, Al Makabbat, Talet Al Rasad, Al Sham oil stations, Al Azem,Al Iman, Al Taim School and the Technical Institute.
An ISIS drone was shot down during the operations in Al Panorama area, in addition to destruction of scores of the terrorists and their equipment.
Several foreign nationals were reportedly killed as well, among them being Kuwaiti terrorists Abu Al Qasem Al Mutairi and Abu Mohammad Al Ahmadi, Saudi terrorist Abu Khadija Al Jazrawi and Moroccan terrorist Abu Othman.
