Syrian Air Force has carried out series of new strikes over the past few hours, targeting ISIS gatherings, positions and barricades in the surrounding areas of Deir Ez Zour Airport, Damen Battalion, the village of Al Junieneh, Al Kamanat crossing, and in the neighborhoods of Al Hamidiyeh and Al Sinaa in the city of Deir Ez Zour.
According to the field reports, dozens of the terrorists were left dead or injured, in addition to their vehicles and equipment being destroyed.
Later, an army unit killed a bunch of terrorists and destroyed a machine-gun-equipped vehicle in the surrounding areas of Al Panorama.
Meanwhile, local sources said ISIS terrorists opened up a girls/women “marketplace” in the eastern town of Mayadeen, located 45 km southeast of Deir Ez Zour.
The kidnapped girls and women are believed to be from the nearby places.
The local sources also said Barakat Al Motlab, one of the key ISIS leaders in Deir EZ Zour, also known as “Qaswara al -Ashari”, fled from the town of Al Asharah, located northeast of Deir Ez Zour.
