Syrian Army, Locals Continue Their Struggle Against ISIS Terrorists in Deir Ez Zour - Like This Article

Units of the Syrian Army and the self-organized groups of locals continue with their efforts against ISIS terrorists in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour. 

Earlier on Tuesday, heavy losses were inflicted upon ISIS terrorists, following Army's raids on their positions at the southern axis of Deir Ez Zour city and in the surrounding areas of Deir Ez Zour Airport.

According to the field reports, the Syrian Air Force carried out series of intense strikes in the past 24 hours and targeted ISIS gatherings and movements in Al Kanamat neighborhood of Deir Ez Zour city, Al Panorama area, and Ma’adan Atiq, located in the western countryside of Deir Ez Zour.

Apart from scores of the terrorists and dozens of pieces of their equipment, an ISIS training camp was also destroyed. 

A local ISIS leader named Mohammad Sukker Al Khamis was among the killed terrorists.

Meanwhile, local sources from the eastern countryside of the province said that a group of locals killed 9 ISIS terrorists and destroyed 3 of their cars, after and IED was planted in the vicinity of Hajin Al Bka’an crossing.

Among the dead, there was a high-ranking Saudi terrorist named Jahiman Abu Hamzeh, also a local emir and one of the terrorists that were arranging attacks in Syrian Army positions in the vicinity of Deir Ez Zour Airport.
