Syrian forces gained control over the village of Al Bugheiliya, located east of Palmyra.
According to the military sources, a control was restored over a village, located 4 km northeast of Jbab Hamad, following fierce clashes with ISIS terrorists, during which, they were met with severe losses.
The Army’s engineering units have already left for Al Bugheiliya and are currently dismantling the IEDs and the booby traps, left over by terrorists at the entrance to the village and between the houses.
The ramaining terrorists have since escaped further into desert.
In the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour, Syrian Air Force carried out intense operations against gatherings and movements of ISIS terrorists in the surrounding areas of Al Panorama and Liwa Al Tamim, inflicting heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists in terms of personnel and equipment.
An ammunition depot was destroyed in the village of Al Baghiiliyeh, with more ISIS targets being hit at the outskirts of Deir Ez Zour city, leaving scores of the terrorists dead or wounded.
During the past few hours, Syrian troops were involved in heavy clashes with ISIS terrorists groups at the graveyards, the surrounding areas of Deir Ez Zour airport, and the Syrian Army Regiment 137.
Dozens of terrorists were killed and their equipment destroyed.
