Syrian Air Force has carried out series of new airstrikes against ISIS gatherings and positions on Thursday.
According to the filed reports, the Syrian Air Force has once again struck ISIS terrorists in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour, targeting their positions and assets in the valley of Al Thardah, the surrounding areas of the Syrian Army Regiment 137, the Khasarat neighborhood in Deir Ez Zour city, and in the villages of Al Husseiniyeh, Al Baghiliyeh and Khsham, killing scores of ISIS terrorists, in addition to destroying their arms and equipment, as well as a command in the village of Marat, located east of Deir Ez Zour.
Later, at the southern axis of Deir Ez Zour city, army units clashed with ISIS-affiliated terrorist groups, again killing a large number of the terrorists and injuring many more others.
Backed by the Syrian Air Force, the ground forces managed to destroy several vehicles, an ammunition depot and two checkpoints, belonging to the so-called “military administration” of ISIS, located at the crossing of Al Halabyia in the village of Al Husseiniya, the village of Albu Omar, the surrounding areas of Deir Ez Zour Airport , the cemeteries and in Al Jubailiyia.
