The Syrian Army today discovered one of the largest weapon and ammunition depots that formerly belonged to ISIS terrorists.

Hundreds of guns, shells, bullets and rockets were found in the town of Abu Hanaya, located in the eastern countryside of Hama province, and which yesterday fell into the hands of the Syrian Army.

During the inspection of the village, located in Uqayribat district, army units discovered an arms maintenance workshop, a weapon depot, several ammunition stockpiles, and a tank.

In addition, the Army has also discovered a warehouse that contained hundreds of boxes containing various types of machine gun ammunition, ammunition tapes and dozens of rocket-propelled grenade launchers.

About 2 weeks ago, army units finally assumed control of the key strategic town of Uqayribat, one of the largest centers of ISIS in Syria, and the main ISIS hub in Hama province. During its operation, the Syrian Army has also taken control over a number of surrounding villages.
