Observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (CMM) were attacked at a Ukrainian border post, the official website of the organization reports.

The OSCE report says that the incident occurred on September 17 in the Kherson region. When the experts tried to approach the border point, dogs were unleashed at their arrival. This, the organization notes, prevented the patrol from approaching the checkpoint.

The observers asked the border patrol commander to recall the dogs, which he did. However, the report emphasizes, that dogs were released dogs twice that ran after members of the patrol group.

According to the organization's website, observers left the region unscathed.
