The US-backed and Kurdish-led so-called “Syrian Democratic Forces” continue to make incursions in the eastern Syrian province of Deir Ez Zour.

On Saturday, unconfirmed reports were claiming that SDF have seized control of Taibah and 'Izbah oil fields, in addition to Conico factory in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour province.

It is noteworthy that SDF's incursions into Deir Ez Zour are a relatively new thing and started to emerge not long after the Syrian Army scored a major victory against ISIS terrorists earlier in the month.

In the past, the Syrian Army came under fire at least twice from these US-backed assets while conducting operations in Deir Ez Zour.

Recently, Russia threatened to respond with force, should the Syrian forces be once again assaulted by the SDF.
