Press office of the Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), Iraq’s largest paramilitary group that has played a crucial role in fight against the terrorist group ISIS, has announced complete liberation of the Iraqi district of Hawija, located in the south of Kirkuk province.
About two weeks ago, PMU and the Iraqi Army began a large scale assault to liberate Hawija district that has since 2014 been in the pawns of ISIS terrorists.
