At least 85% of Raqqa has now been captured by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) from ISIS and have announced that they will capture the entirety of the city within days.
Jihan Sheikh Ahmed, an official spokeswoman for the operation, said the US-backed SDF have made huge advancements meaning 85% of the former ISIS capital has been captured.  
Another SDF official claimed that the rest of the city will be captured within the coming days.
So far, the operation by the SDF to capture Raqqa has seen 3,500 of their fighters either killed or permanently disabled.
