An Post, the Irish postal service, have issued a one euro stamp featuring the Argentine communist revolutionary, Ernesto "Che" Guavara.
October 9 will mark the 50th anniversary of one of the leading figures of the Cuban Revolution that overthrew the US-backed dictator Fulgencio Batista. 
Che's father, Ernesto Guevara Lynch, was a civil engineer of Irish descent and once stated that “in my son’s veins flowed the blood of Irish rebels”.
The  stamp can be purchased at Dublin’s GPO or online at irishstamps.ie.
