Chairman of the General Staff of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces, General Ali Abdullah Ayoub, said today the relations between the Syrian and Iranian armies are well established and stronger than ever.
During a press conference held today with his Iranian counterpart Major General Mohammad Hosein Bagheri in the Syrian capital city of Damascus, General Ayyoub pointed out that the coordinated joint efforts of both armies play a major role in the process of eliminating the terrorist threat, adding that the role of the resistance axis will become much stronger in the future.
“The accumulating military experiences will play a key role in eliminating terrorism, and we are sure that the role of the resistance axis will become much stronger and its ability to face different challenges much greater”, General Ayyoub said.
