Syrian Forces have liberated the strategic village of Hatleh Tahtani and have already reached Al Siyasah bridge on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River as part of their ongoing campaign to fully liberate the remaining neighbourhoods of Deir Ez Zour city, in particularly Al Husseiniyeh, Al Jneiniyeh, Al Hassan and Hatleh, from the grip of ISIS.

In the meantime, the General Command of the Syrian Army has announced that Damascus-Deir Ez Zour highway is now free of ISIS threat and will soon be reopened.

Furthermore, the Syrian Army also announced it is about to begin with the process of liberating the eastern town of Abu Kamal, a major ISIS hub, right in time as its Iraqi colleagues prepare to liberate Rawa and Al Qaem. Both operations will kick off simultaneously.
