While ISIS and Al Nusra Front terrorists clash in Hama province, Syrian Forces made new progress in Deir Ez Zour province.

Over the past few hours, the Army expanded its presence by establishing control over Hatla Al Sharqiyah village, located east of the Euphrates River after killing scores of ISIS terrorists and destroying their positions.

Clashes erupted in the western and southern parts of the so-called ISIS capital of Mayadeen where a great number of the terrorists were killed and their hideouts and positions destroyed.

Later, an army unit thwarted a terror attack of ISIS, destroying their two cars that were full of terrorists before they even reached the military checkpoints in the city of Deir Ez Zour.

The Army has also established control over Makef Al Ghanam, the industrial area, the abandoned airport, as well as a number of western neighborhoods in Deir Ez Zour city, after killing a large number of ISIS terrorists, including suicide bombers, and destroying several rigged vehicles.

In the northern parts of Deir Ez Zour, fierce clashes erupted between the Syrian Army and ISIS terrorists in the villages located east of the Euphrates River, namely in direction of Hatla-Khsham, causing severe losses among the terrorist ranks.

Syrian Air Force and artillery units carried out series of intense strikes, targeting ISIS positions in the villages and towns of Mahkan,Al Boulil, Al Boamr, Huweijet Sakr, Al Ashara, Al Qouriyeh, and once again in Al Husseniyeh, Al Salihiyeh, Al Jneiniyeh, Mheimedeh, Al Hamidiyeh, Al Rashidiyeh, Al Huweiqah, Al Ummal, Al Aridi and Kannamat neighbourhoods of Deir Ez Zour city, inflicting heavy losses upon terrorists in terms of personnel and equipment.

The strikes resulted in dozens of the terrorists being killed and destruction of their hideouts.

Due to intensity of the strikes, more and more ISIS terrorists, their leaders including, are leaving the area.
