Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Saturday that Tehran has fully and impartially fulfilled all of its obligations regarding the agreement on its nuclear program.

While addressing the non-proliferation conference in Moscow on Saturday, Ryabkov noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has fulfilled all obligations of the existing agreements in an accurate and impartial manner.

He pointed out it was publicly noted, including by the Secretary-General of the IAEA, that Iran has granted the access to its facilities that were the subject of concern to the agency.

Previously, the US President Donald Trump said that the White House would cooperate with the Congress to correct some “serious flaws” made in an agreement reached with Iran on July 14, 2015.

Trump refused to acknowledge Iran's commitment to the agreement, noting that the United States will unilaterally make some “necessary changes.”

“The positive outcome of the implementation of the nuclear deal with Iran has not prevented the US President Donald Trump from making irresponsible decisions about the fate of the comprehensive joint action plan on Iran's nuclear program”, Ryabkov noted.

He described Trump’s actions as irresponsible especially because the international community has overwhelmingly supported the nuclear deal.

He added that Moscow has ruled out any possibility of adopting international sanctions against Iran, pointing out its unwillingness to participate in any talks on changing the nuclear deal with Iran,
noting that Moscow is analyzing options in case the US withdraws from the deal.

“The agreement cannot be changed since all the issues that needed to be resolved were resolved one way or another”, Ryabkov said.

The Russian diplomat expressed his belief that Trump's stance on the Iranian nuclear deal shows how Washington has turned the global security into a hostage of its foreign policy.
