RAQQA, Syria - The brutal horror wreaked upon the Syrian city of Raqqa is revealed in this devastating footage filmed on Sunday.

Destroyed buildings, wreckage, burnt-out cars and piles of rubbish strewn across the streets of this war-ravaged city after the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) captured the former ISIS capital from the terrorist group some months back

The city has almost been turned to a deserted wasteland with no working electricity or running water.

Less than one percent of the population's 300,000 now remain in the city, which is still laced with booby traps and explosives left behind by ISIS.

Most of the damage was caused by US-led airstrikes that also killed hundreds of civilians in the process, but received no condemnation from most of the international community.
